I know I have a bit to catch up on, but Bethany has released her rendition of “Someone to Watch Over Me” as part of her “Diamond Gothic” project. Chapters 2 through 5 have also been released and Bethany wrote Part 4. You can read them all at the links below on HelloGiggles. As most of you know, as much as I love to share with you the magic of ordinary days, I am also very private about my personal life. In fact, the only reason I’m saying anything about this at all is because you’ll all be wondering soon why everyone is calling me “Bethany Joy Lenz” again. I’m sorry to say that Michael and I have decided to divorce. We remain friendly and dedicated to raising our beautiful girl in love and we appreciate your prayers and support during this difficult time. I feel immensely humbled and grateful that God works all things for the good of those who love Him.

I’ve added HQ captures  from episode 9×01 – 9×09 of “One Tree Hill” to the gallery, minus 9×02, which will be up as soon as I find a HQ source to capture it from. I have decided against tagging the new and updated captures, in the hope that you will support Bethany-J.com and always source the site if you use the images!

I’ve also been adding captures from season 1 in 720P resolution and I will be upgrading all seasons to this resolution. As the seasons go on, the clarity will get better. I’ll be adding these all the time, and I’ll do periodic updates as I upload so many. I’ll have the missing events added to the gallery this weekend, as well as captures from tonight’s AMAZING episode (9×10 – Hardcore Will Never Die, Buy You Will”)!

Part I

“1929 and Bleeding”

 Fireflies light up the cobblestone road as, here and there, the roar of a Dodge or Ford clamors its way up or down the lane.  One grows accustomed to the muggy, breathless evenings of the South.  The rabid mosquitoes swarm, the scent of magnolias is dizzying.  The Spanish moss, which in the sunlight is an ethereal charm, now hangs, looming in the bug-lit night and hiding war-torn ghosts in its shadows.

The Cape Fear River laps up against the rotten wood and stone below the backyard gardens of No. 21 Ann Street.   In the distance there is a delicious murmur of some gay affair– music, chatter and the occasional, irritating laughter of that one inevitable party guest who is three sheets to the wind and determined to capture the attention of the crowd.  If you were to have peeked your little face over that rotten wood and stone, you would have seen this very thing.
